We are of a large island.  That provides endless contrast of earth and sea.  An erosion that seems somehow slower than time yet inevitable.

 

The Milky Way has always fascinated me.

The innocence, openness and vulnerability

I prefer to work with natural light and settings, and to observe and capture largely undirected interactions between the parents and their precious newborn.

This provides the environment in which to capture a more authentic record of this very special time, when life-long bonds are being formed.

As gender roles continue to evolve, I like to place a slight increase in focus on a father’s early interactions with his child, contrasting their strength and masculinity with newfound sensitivities.

Storms provide one of the most unpredictable, dynamic and spectacular subjects for photographers to capture.

Each storm has a unique form and extreme character.  The senses are rarely more heightened than during a storm shoot.

 

Nightfall introduces unique opportunities to illuminate and contrast the angel statues, further enhancing suggestion of the ethereal.

Infinite variables in moonlight and cloud formations provide a unique and ever changing canvas to shoot against.
